Graymoor Scholarships Available for the Conference

Graymoor Ecumenical & Interreligious Institute (GEII) is a ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. After the Second Vatican Council, with the Catholic Church now committed to the modern ecumenical movement, the Friars of the Atonement founded what was then known as the Graymoor Ecumenical Institute in Garrison, NY, before moving it to its current location in New York City. For more than a half-century, GEII has published the award-winning journal Ecumenical Trends, hosted seminars and workshops on pressing topics, offered service and scholarship to the theology and religious studies academy, and published materials for the annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (founded at Graymoor in 1908).

Since 2022, the Graymoor Institute has partnered with Ecclesiological Investigations to offer scholarships to bring emerging voices, especially students, to EI conferences. If you belong to this group, we ask you to note this when submitting your paper proposal (there is a corresponding box for this) and we will then forward your application to the institute. Priority will be given to paper proposals that engage explicitly ecumenical and interreligious topics.
